The Roots of Exploration
G.V. GOBBI was founded in 1976 in Lumezzane, one of Northern Italy’s most dynamic industrial districts.
In a small artisanal metal-polishing workshop, Renato and Palmira created the first mechanism that would give life to the company’s quality cycle.
Their guiding question was simple: “Is it well made?”
Every answer to that question became the engine driving the company into the orbit of excellence. A modest beginning that marked the start of a journey beyond every imagined boundary.
Pioneers of Automation
Growing up among machines and the passion of his parents, Valeriano Gobbi inherited their experience and expanded it with an entrepreneurial vision.
Determined to go beyond traditional craftsmanship, he designed automated machines that revolutionized the industry.
His pioneering spirit led to a new approach: polishing was no longer manual but automated – always with the same guiding vision: “Well made,” reaching a new horizon.
Space for Growth
The company expanded and, in 2000, moved to a larger industrial area:
840 m² dedicated to production
360 m² office building
20 m² centralized dust-extraction system for polishing
Expanding Services
Attention to detail and the drive to explore new skills led G.V. GOBBI toward a natural evolution.
With the purchase of its first washing plant – an advanced technology integrating polishing with highly efficient cleaning – the company began offering a complete and integrated service, ensuring quality at every stage of the process.
New Horizons
The company entered the automotive sector, where the demand for clean, flawless components pushed toward new frontiers.
A second washing plant and dedicated equipment for the automotive industry confirmed the company’s ability to face increasingly demanding challenges, always with the same determination to explore and innovate without limits.
Energy and Continuity
Riccardo and Fabio, Valeriano’s sons, joined the company, opening a new chapter in exploration.
They brought fresh ideas and modern perspectives, yet continued the path traced by their predecessors – with the same commitment to excellence and the same passion for discovering new horizons.
Innovation and Certified Quality
The company introduced a cleanliness test laboratory, an advanced facility capable of certifying component cleanliness levels.
Growth continued with new buildings hosting offices, a meeting room, and a welcoming hall for clients and partners.
The implementation of ISO 9001 certification reinforced the company’s ongoing commitment to efficiency and reliability – ensuring a safe journey toward excellence.
Growth with Sustainability
In 2022, G.V. GOBBI acquired a new facility for next-generation washing systems.
